At the end of January, a close family member of mine began to experience heart failure while we were sitting on the couch watching the news. With a jolt of adrenaline, I drove her to the ER, helped her register, and answered questions from clinical staff as they measured her vital signs, performed diagnostic tests, and provided preliminary treatment. Like it is for so many people in hospitals across the US, every single day, the experience was stressful, overwhelming, and emotionally draining.

Meet EyeDOG.US's newest intern, Lily! While Lily takes the occasional break for her much needed puppy naps, she also diligently oversees operations, making sure her mom, Kay, gets a well-deserved break. You can find Kay taking Lily out for walks or playing fetch in the yard.

The first step to receiving care is arriving at the appointment; and, our new multi-step navigation makes that as easy as possible. Enhancements, designed to make the patient journey as smooth as possible, include parking and entrance images, and instruction on where to report before proceeding to the appointment destination. Our patient journey enhancements help the patient feel better prepared for the entire experience around their appointment.
